Hope Damon

Candidate for New Hampshire House

District 8

Sullivan County
Hope Damon was a leader in the successful, nonpartisan campaign to restore the Croydon school budget after it was slashed 53%. She is running for office to push back the Free State Movement, work for fair funding of high quality schools, protect reproductive rights, promote clean energy and increase voter engagement by finding common ground in a kind, civil way. Hope is a 36year Croydon resident, a dietitian who has enjoyed a career helping people take care of themselves, board member and grants cochair of NH Women’s Foundation and a middle child who knows how to negotiate.

State House Democrats believe in a New Hampshire that works for everyone. As extreme Republicans in Concord passed New Hampshire’s first abortion ban without exception for rape, incest or fatal fetal anomaly they ignored the current energy crises which has caused our electric rates to double. Democrats in the State House will always work to protect a women’s right to an abortion, push to adopt domestic renewable energy so we can lower energy costs and fight to keep public money in public schools so every student in New Hampshire has the opportunity succeed.
