I am a working mom, caregiver daughter, wife, business owner, church-goer, active community member, and 22-year resident of Manchester, NH and currently seek re-election to represent Wards 1, 3, 10, 11, and 12 at the State House, to stand up for women, families, students, teachers, patients, providers, historically marginalized communities and more, and to assure that NH remains a vibrant and welcoming state. I bring over 20 years’ experience working to improve health and well-being for people and communities as a family physician, researcher, educator, and public health practitioner, including 10 years of service in state government. As a State Representative I bring voice to hard working NH families’ needs and concerns in crafting our laws to assure opportunity for everyone to succeed and thrive, and I will continue to fight to protect democracy and for the people of NH to assure access to quality jobs, quality schools and quality healthcare for all.
Top Priorities
- Protecting democracy and voting rights: this includes increasing civic engagement and prohibiting book bans and limits to the telling of accurate history
- Quality schools: all children are supported in their learning to grow into thriving adults, recognizing that public education is the foundation of our free and democratic society
- Quality healthcare: accessible, affordable, high quality healthcare so that “everyone has a fair and just opportunity to be as healthy as possible” including respecting people’s autonomy to make their own healthcare decisions without government interference
