CONCORD- Representative Stephen Shurtleff of Concord, released the following statement regarding the settlement of New Hampshire’s voter information.
“It is my understanding that the voter data that will be released will not be in a searchable form and will not come from a statewide database. The Secretary of State has agreed to adhere to current New Hampshire law and only release publicly available information.”
“We appreciate Senator Bette Lasky and Representative Neal Kurk for bringing forward this bipartisan lawsuit to protect New Hampshire voter information data from wide distribution and commercial use.”
“We will continue to monitor and safeguard any activity that will compromise the privacy of New Hampshire voters and to file legislation that may be necessary.”
